We have introduced the jumperoo a few times to B and he just didn't 'get it'. I think part of the problem was that his feet didn't touch the ground. I tried putting a pillow below for him and that didn't help, and constantly slid. Today I tried with a folded up blanket below him- this cured it!
At first he just had a 'conversation' with me. We have several of these talks a day. Then he went into full out jump mode!

OMG is he cute! I love that he was lifting his little arms too--adorable! The pillow didn't work for us either, but blanket did. I also found that if G is in just a onesie (pants are ok) its easier for her to jump b/c she not being pulled up by the crotch of her clothes.
Enjoy the jumperoo! I have to take G out of it after 30 min otherwise I think she'd stay in it all day!
AHHH! So cute. Im glad he likes it. We have the same jumperoo so I cant wait to use it!

OMG Carly he is ADORABLE!!! His smile just melts my heart and I love his talking, so sweet.
